Getting Started

PlanOnce is a zero-based budgeting app. Every dollar (or yen, euro, pound) gets a job. Assign your income to categories, track what you spend, and see exactly where your money goes.

1. Tap Start with Defaults on the Budget screen to create starter categories, or create your own.
2. Add your income by tapping the banknote icon in the top-right corner.
3. Assign your income to categories until the "To Assign" amount reaches zero.
4. Record expenses as you spend by tapping the blue + button.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data safe?

Yes. All data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to any server. See our privacy policy.

How do I restore my purchase?

Go to Settings > Upgrade to Pro > Restore Purchase. This will restore your Pro purchase on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.

Can I import from YNAB?

Yes. Go to Settings > Import from CSV. Export your data from YNAB as CSV and import it into PlanOnce. Your categories, accounts, and transactions will be preserved.

How do I export my data?

Go to Settings to export your transactions as CSV. The file can be opened in any spreadsheet application.
